Canada Olympic preview

The Winter games in Turin start tomorrow. Canada is looking forward to a promising Winter Olympics, especially in the medal count.

Some names to focus on are Manitoba speed skater Cindy Klassen and Alberta skeleton racer Mellisa Hollingsworth-Richards, as well as the defending gold-medal winning men's and women's hockey teams.

While the focus in Turin, Canadian eyes will be focused on the next Winter Olympic Games in 2010 in Vancouver and Whistler, British Columbia.

The coverage airs in the States on NBC and its plethora of cable channels. The CBC airs its traditionally outstanding coverage. If you live anywhere near the border or have access by satellite, I suggest you tune in there. I will try to keep up via the blog.
