TV better than sex?
Maybe it's the influx of American TV that causes this. . . According to a new survey, aging Canadian baby boomers spend a lot more time watching television or surfing the Internet than dealing with sex and romance. Pfizer Inc., the maker of Viagra, found in the survey that Canadians between the ages of 40 and 64 spend an average of 15 minutes a day on sex and romance, but can spend as much as five hours a day watching TV or surfing the Internet.
I don't think it's as bad as it looks. Sex AND romance is a broad topic. Romance could be letting him have the remote or letting her shop on the Internet. Surfing times are up for a lot of demographics, so that accounts for lost time in general.
Still, to the 2,500 people surveyed, take some time to look away from the screen (after you read this story, of course) and look at him/her and say, "Hey, let's spend an extra 10 minutes on sex/romance today."
