Love watching hockey on CBC

With simple basic cable, I can watch hockey on CBC. It's short-term, West Coast games only, and probably only through this round. But I am enjoying OLN letting the CBC feed go as is.

So far, the #8 Edmonton Oilers are giving everything to a team many feel will make the Stanley Cup finals: the #1 Detroit Red Wings. Edmonton proved it can win at the Joe (that's Joe Louis Arena in Detroit). And if you stayed up late for the game-winner, what a game. Even though Edmonton blew a 2-goal lead in 18 seconds in the 3rd period, the Oilers hung in there.

Ottawa and Calgary are about where I thought they would be. Tampa Bay is another tough #8 and Anaheim is hanging in there as a #5.

And how 'bout those Habs!!!
