How 'bout those Habs!

The series American TV won't show you hasn't had much to say for Carolina so far. Montreal, the #7 seed, took two straight in Carolina. The Canadiens dominated Game 1 on Saturday from start to finish. I tried finding a bar in Milwaukee to get the CBC feed, but no luck.

In Game 2, Montreal went up 3-0 in the first period. Carolina showed some fire late and tied it up, but the Habs pulled it out in the second overtime.

Ottawa and Calgary lost their home ice advantage as Tampa Bay and Anaheim won the second game in those series. Edmonton played Detroit tough in Game 1 and won Game 2 in Detroit. Those series go to Tampa Bay, Anaheim, and Edmonton respectively on Tuesday.

Lots of overtime hockey so far. This is just getting started.
