Big Canadian burger

Though hamburger has a German origin, and the United States has made it all its own, we welcome outrageously huge hamburgers from anywhere. A restaurant owner in Kingston, Ontario is giving it the Canadian try.

Ian Sarfin of Ian's Kitchen and Soda Shoppe said his burger took more than three hours to cook Thursday morning and weighs almost 10 kilograms (22 pounds). The sandwich is 38 centimeters (15 inches) across and 5 centimeters (2 inches) high. According to Sarfin, there's a pound of cheese, a pound of onion, a pound of pickles, two pounds of tomatoes and five cups of sauce.

The burger is being offered for about $100 Canadian (about $80 American) with 48 hours notice, and it's available for delivery.
